Abingdon HC looking for new Men’s Coach

Abingdon HC is looking for a new Men’s Coach for September 2016 to lead the Men’s training section. Training for both men and ladies takes place on Tuesday evenings at Tilsley Park, Abingdon; Ladies and Men’s 3s: 7-8:30pm, Ladies and Men’s 1s and 2s: 8-9:30pm.

 

Abingdon HC is a small, vibrant and friendly club with bags of spirit! We have three men’s teams, three ladies’ teams, one mixed team and a thriving juniors section. We have players of all levels of experience and of all ages.

 

We train and play our home matches at Tilsley Park in Abingdon, which is conveniently located just off the A34. We therefore have players not only from Abingdon but from a host of surrounding villages, as well as Didcot, Wantage, Grove, Wheatley and Oxford.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ideally a Level 2 qualified coach but coaches with Level 1 experience will be considered
  • Work closely with the Men’s section; coordinating training sessions with the team captains
  • Attend all training sessions
  • Promote player development
