GRADUATE HOCKEY COACH – SEPTEMBER 2014

Overall Aim:
Hockey is considered one of the major sports at Bloxham and with our extensive facilities and busy fixtures programme we would like to continue to build on the success of our hockey in recent years. The girls and boys hockey departments require a full time hockey coach that can help facilitate the coaching and delivery of hockey at Bloxham School.

Role:
The suitable applicant would be able to lead and coach a designated team on Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday afternoons from 2:00-4:30pm as well as Fridays 3:45-4:45pm

Start date:
Wednesday 3rd September 2014 through to Wednesday 25th March 2015 [not including school holidays]

Qualifications:
The applicant would currently hold a level 1 or 2 coaching qualification and have some previous experience coaching a team or be confident enough to coach and lead a team. They would also need to go through child protection training at Bloxham and would be expected to go through the current DBS process as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
The applicant would be asked to lead and deliver a suitable coaching programme that will be aimed at extending one of our school teams. We are looking for someone knowledgeable but also organised, approachable and willing to be part of the coaching team and its variety of demands.

Pay:
£6,000 on a two term contract
